Casa Carlotta

Situated on the hillside above Caprino, Casa Carlotta features breathtaking views over Lugano, the Lago di Lugano and the surrounding mountains. Our quiet and beautifully furnished chalet, with its three rooms, the large sunny terrace and a beautiful outdoor pool, offers everything you could want for a relaxing holiday.

In 2010, we have renovated Casa Carlotta completely. Now it is combining the charm of the 60s with the comfort you would expect today.

The main floor (about 800 sq ft) has a large open-plan kitchen with picture windows and fireplace, a living room, a bedroom and a shower room. The large south west terrace (about 400 sq ft), where life takes place during summer days, is running along the lakeward side of the house.

Directly below the terrace is the pool with spots for sun loungers . You can reach it both from the terrace through a small gate and from the basement.

In the basement (about 300 sq ft) there is another bedroom , an additional shower room and a utility room with washing machine. It has a separate entrance.

Casa Carlotta is located on the eastern slope of Monte Caprino, facing Monte Bré and San Salvatore.

A walk to the lake takes about 15 minutes. A boat service provides crossings to Lugano several times a day. Hiking trails lead to Campione d’ Italia and Cantine di Gandria.

Restaurants can be found in Caprino and Pugerna. Shops for daily needs are in Arrogno. A car ride to the city of Lugano via the Melide causeway takes about 25 minutes.
